Mindful Vinyasa is a vigorous class with a focus on cultivating both the mind and the body through asana. The class is constructed around the sun salute and moves at a fairly quick pace while cultivating and maintaining mindfulness.
Hatha Yoga uses bodily postures (asanas), breathing techniques(pranayama), and meditation techniques(dyana) with the goal of bringing about a sound, healthy body and a clear, peaceful mind. The class is more static than vinyasa classes and allows more time for thorough asana instruction. Appropriate for beginners.

The morning session will include yoga movement and meditation. After lunch we will sit together, bearing witness to this human experience and later embark upon the quieter practices of yoga. There will be time for questions and discussion. The yoga offered will be an all levels practice open to anyone able to stand, sit and stretch. The emphasis will be on mindfulness rather than athletic performance. The meditation will include guidance for those newer to mindfulness.

We are a group of people that meet weekly for community and meditation. Our aim is to provide a place for us to meet with a foundation of non-harming to support each other in creating a more peaceful world. Beginners are always welcome. Each meeting will include meditation instructions, wisdom teachings and group discussion. Meditation will be done in chairs. The Insight Richmond meditation group welcomes all cultures and identities, and will offer meditation instruction and support for both beginners and experienced practitioners.

Yoga and meditation at the fabulous Green Gulch Farm. Lunch is made from food grown at the farm. The morning practice will be vigorous. There will be time in the afternoon to walk to the beach followed by breathing exercises, gentle yoga asana, walking and seated meditation.
