This day retreat begins at 9am with our first of two yoga practices. The morning session, a dynamic yoga class, will be a physically engaging practice that will leave you feeling energized, balanced, and connected to your body. In the morning after the asana, there will be a period of guided meditation and breathing exercises. Our afternoon practice will include quiet postures, restorative poses, and yoga nidra to support the relaxation response.

We will explore what it feels like to “stand in yourself” and cultivate trust, confidence, and courage. Yoga, meditation, and community are deep supports for the awakening of trust and confidence that goes beyond the ups and downs of everyday life.

    The Well of Grief

Those who will not slip beneath
the still surface on the well of grief,

turning down through its black water
to the place we cannot breathe,

will never know the source from which we drink,
the secret water, cold and clear,

nor find in the darkness glimmering,

    the small round coins,
thrown by those who wished for something else.
